Locks on my computer folders?

I was wanting to try to back up my folders, but I just noticed, there are locks on the files? What's that about and how do I get rid of those locks?

As far as I'm aware, all Windows' computers have this, it's just normal protocol. You *can* probably make it so all of the files are unlocked from the start, but I don't know how. As you are the owner of the computer, and the highest level user, then you can probably do this, but there is really no point, as most of the time you don't really want to mess around with any of the files in the locked folders.

What OS even is it? Seems like a Mac to me for some reason, but if not then what I would normally do is right click, go to properties, and check the file permissions to see if you can change them back.

Seems like an issue with permissions. You are the highest level user on the machine, right?
