Have you ever just heard a song and thought, "Damn that's good!"

If so, post a link to your song here.

Do it!

"Do you wanna die? Do you wanna die. DO YOU WANNA DIE!!???!!???"

Oh heck yeah!

Music discussions get boring when it's just the same 2-4 genres getting mentioned all the time. The more genres/subgenres/microtrends the better I say.

Also the song you posted is neat!
It reminds me of the first two Pendulum albums a lil bit.

Yeah, that song was quite nice. Though the reason they don't 'make music like this anymore' is because that movement came and went really quickly and the music scene has evolved. While this is still a good song, it hasn't aged as well as a lot of its contemporaries, not to mention how much it's influenced by another 90s rock band with The Pixies. If a song like this were to be released today, it would be considered horrifically dated, especially since the rock scene (which itself is dying out) has moved past the edgy days of the 90s grunge/alt-rock era.

Anyway, here's my recent discovery: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyoYf7…

It manages to be bittersweet, yet really hopeful at the same time.

Alec Benjamin - Let Me Down Slowly

Heard it on the radio on the way to my mom's work and as soon as we got there I opened up my laptop and downloaded it. Not even half an hour had passed.

Not my usual dig, but I actually really enjoyed this. Grew on me more and more as it went on.
