Well, if we're talking about dream pets, I could go for a white hackle rooster/cock, particularly one with slight mustard hues and red speckles. I'd train it and exercise it but not for fighting. To keep it shape for the ladies. I abhor fighting so I would never think of subjecting it to that. It's a pet after all. I just adore the looks of those majestic birds.
It takes a lot of money, space, and time to keep one properly though so it will most likely remain a dream.
It's true roosters are gorgeous. Even the ones without long feathers. But you don't need lots of money, space and time for one. Just a henhouse and a couple of chickens to keep him happy.... and also you need either deaf, or very very tolerant neighbours. If you don't buy two roosters, there won't be any fighting. He'll be happy with his girls.
Not wanting to bother anyone is basically why I said I'd need lots of money and space. Money to buy the proper place and to build the henhouse. But of course, having tolerant neighbors would go a long way to saving money. XD
or go live somewhere in a rural area where there aren't any spoiled villa dwellers around but just farms where there are chickens already. You might even be able to rent or buy a house there that isn't too expensive at all! Real estate isn't a thing for millionnaires everywhere. The condition would be that you'd have a job that allows you to work from home, of course. If you were to find a position as an artist, you'd be able to do that.
A docile plushy cat, ginger, white or both, Scottish straight (they don't jump on wardrobes and don't climb drapes) or Kurilian bobtail (won't hit me with tail, but these are jumpy, jumpier than most).
Probably a skinny pig, I already have two of the freaking cutest furred Guinea pig's their names are John Franklin and Marble and I would like to add a new addition to my piggy squad. ❤ Guinea pig's are like potato chips ya can't just have one hehe 😁
I promised my mother I wouldn't have another one, but I would love to have another Husky dog!!! They're beautiful, cuddly-soft, very smart, and very friendly! I also love Boston Terriers, Cavalier Spaniels, Pomeranians, and Collies. It's just too hard to choose one breed!
Cats will always be my favorite pet but having a snake would be awesome someday. My mom is very scared of them and I don't have enough space so that will have to wait until someday in the future. A turtle or toad even would be fun. I've also heard that tarantulas aren't too hard to care for and depending on the species they don't need too much room.
I volunteer at a wildlife clinic so it's possible that someday I could be a home rehabber or have an educational animal. They wouldn't really be "pets" becasue depending on the circumstance I'd be either nursing something back to health with as little contact as possible or I'd be bringing one to classes for educational talks. Opossums are what I'd be most comfortable with, but a hawk would be so badass. Terrifying but very badass.
