Drawing when you're inspired vs drawing when you WANT to be creative.

I find that when I draw for the sake of drawing that my art isn't as good as it is when I feel inspired to make something, it's this the case for everyone?

I get sudden bursts of inspiration and start drawing whatever the fuck I please, and usually, it all turns out great in the end. But when I want to be creative, well, that's when my art is at its shittiest. That's why I can't do sketch/draw commissions.

Waiting for inspiration generally means you'll rarely ever draw. :B

Drawing for the sake of drawing doesn't always turn out well, but at least it's practice, so you'll end up making something better when you do get inspired.

I can agree 90% to this, cause at times I start something when I'm really inspired, I have a really good idea of what I want it to be, yet it turns out bad. And vise versa, when I'm not inspired and then I either become inspired while making something, or it just turns out well in the end.
