Allergy season came and went for me with the passing of the citrus blossom and all the bees they attracted. Not a single cottonwood in miles from me. But I think I would rather have those seeds, than the clouds of crawly little aphids that fall from the trees in some of the parking lots here.
Have you tried wearing non-magnifying glasses, or stylish goggles?
Cottonwood was only a "problem" one year (bout 2 years ago) and I think white fluffy shit floating around everywhere is aesthetically pleasing. I'm also saying that because I have literally no allergies
Let me take you to Las Vegas and give you a balcony view of the skyline at night; two tickets just for you and me courtesy of my friend Alex. You can even bring your little cottonwood seeds with you. I'll buy the coffee.
Hey, I'm still present you know. I don't look that damn old piggies. I fancy myself more on the rugged side and I dress up pretty well too, I'm a good dancer and listener and have been known to be witty and a good storyteller. But I've been rejected before and my heart's been broken so many times I've never been able to find all the pieces to fully put it back together again. At least the wizard of oz gave the tin man a new one.
So I walk away shuffling my feet, head bowed once more searching for someone in this lonely world to care for...
Please forgive me piggies but I just wanted to share with you and all the others this beautiful picture that my friend Alex sent me of the shoreline of NYC. He's an OTR Trucker and from time to time sends me pictures of places he delivers to and take pictures of. This was taken with a IPhone 8 plus. I'm blown away at the quality and sharpness of the photo. Pls, I implore you to take a look. It's beautiful.
