What screams "delusional artist" to you?
In My time browsing DA and other similar websites I've seen quite a bit of Delusional artistry So I'm curious what screams Delusional artist to you?
Not just delusional, but other pitfalls you see artists constantly walking into.
A big one for me is charging too much for art.

(let me clear something up for a bit, I have no problem with "bad" art Everyone has to start somewhere, right? My issue Comes with the attitude Not the art. Your art is bad whatever life goes on the sun comes up in the morning. If you choose to better yourself, power to you, You're taking the right steps to becoming a "good" artist. Now on the other hand the people who continue to post their self proclaimed "bad" art, whore out for attention, and do nothing to change it, I have a problem with. Not you person who might be their biggest and meanest critic, I feel your pain. this is not directed to you (maybe) We're all trying to get better, Okay? Okay.)

Artist that says that their artstyle is "original" and doesn't want to get criticize, or even if we did critique them, their answer will always be "This is my artstyle"
1) Artists who are incredibly rude about not wanting a critique instead of just disabling comments on their artwork and calling it a day.
2) Artists who have a set of "Do Not Watch Me if..." rules that can be summed up as, "I'm egocentric and can't tolerate people who disagree with me".
3) Artists who charge $35 for something that looks like it was made on MS-paint in five minutes.

Holy shit this so fucking much I casually browse peoples accounts and every time I see this a liitle bit of me dies, I agree with most of your other points as well.
There's a chick who almost fits all the criteria here :/ I cant remember her dumb name, But I think she was discussed earlier in the thread. She was like "dont watch me if your a "mature artist" and blocks porn artists and people who critique her shitty art.

Those who don't accept constructive critiques ? I have a had a few people ask me for them, then they get angry at what I say that can be improved??? or give the excuse (it's my style) when the part I said that would be good to improve is unrelated to style???
What really says delusional to me is all the fan art of 'YouTuber Ships'

When someone is part of a group that isn't universally liked, and expect everyone to be okay with it. (Not saying that it's bad to like something that not many people do, but don't expect it to be all sunshine and rainbows. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain't you! You're better than that! I'm always gonna love you no matter what. No matter what happens.)

I get it when they use it for commercial purposes (I understand it very well as I have been contacted by multiple companies to use my species (all which I have declined)) but when it's just fan characters, then its pretty infuriating.
And it gets even more hilarious when you do end up buying a design from them and they start harassing you claiming that they still own the rights to the character when you don't credit them for it 
When artists claiming uniqueness make their art terrible to look at. Often they look up to no one, regard nobody as their master, never learn from the best.
People who don't accept any constructive criticism or negative feedback on their work. Like what the fuck, if you didn't want it to be criticized why post it online for anyone to view. Just accept the criticism, they're trying to help you and want to see you get better.
I admit, some criticism I've received has upset in the past, but i still take their advice and comments into consideration in order to improve.

Or just go with the classic "You don't draw, so you can't criticize my art!". Like do you need to know how to cook in order to know the taste of the meal or what?
I don't know if that last comment posted but it was supposed to be a question mark, not a period. Wow how a sentence can change by the mark of a period or a question. Periods can sound arrogant.... XD
