I hit my head on a metal pipe, what should I do?

I walked into a metal pipe while at work today. There's was a little bleeding and some swelling but I don't feel that much pain. Should I go to the doctor anyways?

For me, it just depends. Bleeding and swelling? That's not what bothers me.

It's when vision and hearing, or any senses for that matter, are impaired. That's when I would be concerned.

Ow?

Yeah, you should see someone at urgent care about it.
Unless you are having dizziness or nausea (both are signs of concussion) there really isn't much to worry about. Put some bacitracin on it to forestall infection, since it did bleed. If you DO have dizziness or nausea or (worst of all) memory lapses, go to urgent care.

Thanks for the advice! I'm not really dizzy or nauseous right now but putting some bacitracin does seem like a good idea. The blood dried up while I was outside.

Go to the doctors! You could have a mild concussion! Or worse.
