Tags I don't want to see
So ever since we got the new DA i've been getting tags in my suggestions I don't want to see. Deviantart please give us the ability to NOT VIEW tags that we don't want on all viewing modes. Ideally you should have some kinda tag filter you can customize to taste.
This should apply to the different tabs such as viewing the popular section too, just omitting the tags you don't want. Seriously i mean i get some guys like the big belly tag and junk like that but I DON'T WANT TO SEE IT

I believe there may be a browser extension which can block in areas the in house feature doesn't.
One other pro-tip, if you click the three dot menu on a thumb in the 'For You' feed, squirt out a menu with 'Show Less Like This'. Between the muted tags and some pruning in the fee, I don't get grody porn for the most part.
Have you tried turning the Mature Filter on? Or utilizing the Muted tags system that already exist?
People can't tag correctly
When people don't tag their art correctly, your fun browse of sweet art is disturbed.
I never seem to have this issue so I'm wondering why its plaguing so many others. I guess it has to do with the types of deviations you view. Even if its just a morbid curiosity and you look at something gross, the site must assume that's what you want to see more of and so its keeps suggesting that same crap.
This is why I only look at pretty art LOL
The way you make tags you dislike disappear from your feed is by going to account setting> browsing> muted tags

mute tags only works while searching DA, favorites and gallery, sadly it doesn't work in group deviations at this time.
As long as they don't appear when i'm searching for random stuff i'm happy.
In my opinion that is the most dumbest feature. What happens when you might want to see something but shares the same tag?

You can block tags. This is one of the key features added since Eclipse.

Settings > Browsing > Muted tags

Nah don't worry about it. They don't give you proper tutorial on how to use the website.
