Goddamn it
At least the Hazbin fantart is tame...for now. I should have fucking known better.
For my part it was just a decently written, fast paced and funny story of psychopaths in an office. Then along comes all the fetish art and I'm like 'Okay, backing away now...'
It must be disheartening to create something only to have a load of degenerate furry speds take your characters and redraw them in the most obscene manners going.
Honestly, FA was full of crappy NSFW content and I was lucky to find the same content, only better drawn and minus the porn aspect. I was on a lucky streak of not finding something fucked up involuntarily. Should have just stayed prepared.
around here the filter is a lost cause. people don't use it, they don't bother with tagging, but eclipse does have a mute tag feature and it is a slight benefit.
Yikes ... Then how is this getting traction?
Heck if I know... Internet is weird.
Partially because it's tame enough that most people don't care (character in a bathtub full of snakes, nothing explicit) and partially because it's been a while since she drew it. And like. People overlook a lot of things for creators they like. The creator of Rurouni Kenshin is a convicted pedophile and people still enjoy his work.
Sigh. Tbh I'd be glad not knowing he's a pedophile. But then again, it's being way too common these days.
I want to seperate the art from the artist but dammit people, they're making it really difficult.
I won't lie, I have friends that I haven't told about that because they enjoy the series so much. It would ruin it forever for them so they get to find out on their own eventually. But yeah like, he was arrested on CP charges and plead guilty. Nasty shit.
I don't know how I feel about separating art from artist in cases like this to be honest. I can't read Harry Potter knowing that JKR is racist, antisemitic, and transphobic, because in retrospect, all of those things are very clear in her work. I feel like this would be the same for me.
mmmmmmmmk
