I think is very good this option to block because each person may like or not comments sent to them.
Ok, but if i mark that person as watching, when i am blocked i see nothing neither main profile, and because this i CANT STOP WATCHING the person, but still i receive notifications from person.
I suggest when someone is blocked also REMOVE the watch option so nothing more is sent to that person

If you block them back in return they'll be unwatched automatically and will stop watching you.

This sounds like a bug, blocking someone or getting blocked should automatically remove them/you from the watch list so neither of you should be getting updates. Pop over to the helpdesk and file a bug report ticket.
