Krita - text to path?
Can't find /any/ documentation on using text with Krita, so not sure it's even possible, but most programmes you can draw a vector path and then attach your text to it, anyone know if and how to do this in Krita? I don't want to have to manually warp my text :/

I was looking for the same thing and I found this :
userbase.kde.org/Karbon/Tutori…
maybe it'll be of help to you. I'm still trying to figure it out.

I managed to stumble across that, still cannot get the text to attach up the right way *sighs* I wish they would make a proper user manual!
afaik, you must not use the normal text tool.
1 make sure the add shape docker is visible
2 draw a path using the freehand path tool (afaik there is no button for it, so you MUST bind a shortcut key to use it).
3 draw path
4 add new artistic shape
5 look closely, a new button called "artistic text editing" will appear in the tool bar. (you can also just use the shape editing tool and double click on the tet)
6 double click on the path you drew
that should be done.

Where can I find the freehand path tool to bind it to a shortcut key?
settings/configure shortcuts
Huh, cool, thanks!
