Screen recorder help.

I have an upcoming art assessment for school, my teacher is allowing me to use my art tablet for the subject however I need to record my process (in the screenshot sense) with notes on my progress.
However I thought it would be easier, for both me and my teacher, to just record the process start to finish.
I've tried Camstudio, however the file corrupted during my test today and I don't want to risk drawing for an hour+ with little to no outcome. AGAIN.
What I'm looking for is a light recording program with no watermark, that records for a good length of time and is a relative good quality, and is free. Little lag is acceptable as I'll be speeding it up anyway so it doesn't matter, audio recording also doesn't matter once again because it is a speedpaint-type project.
Thank you for your time !!

Try getting shoutv or irec if you're on an apple device. :p

If not then I have nothing for you.
Try Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture.

why not just record it with hypercam or smth?? heck make it into a full speedpaint. that'd be interesting.

Aah thank you.
I downloaded and tested it earlier and it worked wonderfully.

You'd waste less time if you just took regular screencaps
