I am not sure which to get. The new(ish) Wacom Splash or the old Bamboo Pen & Touch. Any other tablet is not in interest or budget ;[
What I plan on doing: non-professional digital painting with paint tool sai/photoshop/gimp. I really just wanna get a feel for it and try it out.
Any knowledgeable Wacom product users out there with any tips/advice?
Much appreciated.

Ok ya. I've been reading review for the past couple of days and I think I'll give the splash a go.
And then I saw a clear cover thing for the pad and thought it would be a good idea to get that too to protect the nibs or whatever.

I'd say to get the Bamboo Splash, my friend.
Pen and Touch may get a bit annoying, the touch feature is rather useless.
I have an Intuos 5 Small and I always have the touch feature off.
