I can't move my files around!

I took my computer in to get fixed, but now that it's back, all my folders are automatically marked as read-only, even the ones I made just moments ago. Whenever I turn read-only off, it instantly changes back to read-only again. I run Vista and I have Administrator-level privileges, so I don't understand what's going on. I hope I can fix this without having to take this back to the repair shop.

It was happening to me also few days ago. My system had virus when I scanned I got rid of it, you may also try to scan your system.

Well the simplest thing would be to call them, tell them what has happened, and ask them to guide you in how to fix it (since it's something they did, not you, and they should fix it).

I see the problem now. One of the files I needed to transfer must have been read-only.
