In favour of Skype, of course. Actually, I've been using Skype just for even IM lately, and I find it a lot more tolerable (if not better) than that new 2011 version of Windows Live Messenger.
I have only 1 friend that I use MSN to talk to and I occasionally feel guilty when I realize I haven't logged in to it in a while and neglected to notice. Other than that, I don't think I'd miss it.
I've never posted in the forums here before, and quickly went over the guidelines,so I really hope not breaking any by posting this; [link] This is a link to a petition to keep msn alive, in case anyone was interested.
The MSN clients started to get progressively worse with every update the moment they introduced that awful "buzzer", or whatever the hell it was. The latest iteration of MSN was unbearable. I really want to know who had the brilliant idea to replace more than half of my contact list with advertisements and various social networking updates I didn't care about and didn't ask for. And then not giving me the option to turn it off. Or, hell, to give me the option to not have to install the latest version of MSN clients at all.
In favour of Skype, of course. Actually, I've been using Skype just for even IM lately, and I find it a lot more tolerable (if not better) than that new 2011 version of Windows Live Messenger.
So, what do you think?
