On my dad's labtop and his desktop. (sometimes)

He is having a problem with his flash plug-in crashing. They like to play farmville and cityville etc etc alot on facebook and every now and then it crashes.

First reccomendation to fix the issue is to simply uninstall / reinstall the plug-in's.

Well my dad has done that multiple times. The problem still occurs. What are other alternate routes and methods to fixing this issue?

I am willing to find and retrieve information related to the labtop/desktop and various softwares being utilized or watever it is you need to know.

It's not a consistant error. It happens every now and then. If you reload the page sometimes it works again or if you restart the computer. They also have the latest versions updated.

The problem isn't Chrome or the plug-in. It means your computer doesn't have enough resources to support that much drain from Flash. What you need to do is free up RAM or upgrade to more RAM. You can free up RAM by closing unnecessary programs and processes and/or limiting how many tabs/windows you have open that utilize the Flash plug-in and/or refreshing frequently. If you leave Chrome running non-stop between use, it will sit their continuing to use up memory. So if you're not using it, quit the program.

If you want to see what's going on by the minute, open up Task Manager and go to the Performance tab or use a similar widget/plug-in that analyzes your computer resources and performance. Watch for patterns while doing stuff in your browser.

thanks this is very useful. Wont help him much because im certain they will still use and run the programs just as frequently and in the same way. But atleast i can give him an answer and possible solution to his problems.

Also chances of him buying new ram is slim.

Thanks non the less very helpful.
