Ok, so I know several ways to do this, but all of them require me to change my options when I export as a PNG.
The options DO NOT show up when I save/export as PNG.
I know a box is supposed to open up that asks if I want to save as RGB or ARGB. <---Which I want!!!!!

But, uh, yeah. I get NO options box.

HELP!!!

just upload the picture and go to "Layer Transparent" which you can find under Create and just select what you want transparent.

Note- make sure that the stuff you DON'T want transparent isn't the same color as what you DO want transparent.
otherwise it will make that transparent too

hope i helped~!

I don't have Photoshop yet. >.<

Unfortunately, I do have a lot of the same colors in it. Thanks for helping, though!

I'd would just export it as a .PSD then make it a PNG in photoshop/gimp.

Oh, I can do that...? Lemme try.

No, it didn't work, because the layer that was originally transparent in SAI now has a white background in GIMP. So it covers the transparency.
