Can I split a microphone signal, so that it inputs into two devices?
I have a headset with 2 x 3.5mm separate audio and mic jacks
Can I split the mic from the headset, so that I can input the mic channel into two separate devices? e.g a laptop and gaming controller?
I see a lot of splitters like this: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5mm-Femal…...
but only one of the jacks on this splitter is labeled for microphone, will it still work?

It'll work but there will be no isolation so you might get a lot of feedback. If you do you'll need an isolated splitter.
Sure you can. Your link isn't working, but what you want is a 3.5mm Audio Splitter 1 Female to 2 Male Adapter Cable.
ok cool! thanks
