Bamboo Capture touch not working?

The pen works perfectly fine, all buttons work, touch does nothing whether it's enabled or disabled.
I've tried rebooting, unplugging, installing... everything I can think of.
The light flickers so it's picking up my touch, but it won't move the cursor, click, or do any gestures.
The pen, pen pressure, and buttons work fine. I've tried consulting google and the Wacom forums, but found no answers aside from reinstalling the drivers - which hasn't fixed it, nor has rebooting my computer. I've had this tablet since 2012 and have had touch disabled for the past few months, now that I've tried to enable it I've found it doesn't work.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

First you should--->

Update you drivers and remove/uninstall the older ones.

Try using another USB port. ( Try all ports-- front and back on the comp)

Take the battery out and then place it back in.

Try removing all system preferences.

Is there a button on your device specifically for touch?( top border of tablet)

Control panel--> Programs and features-->turn off optional tablet pc components

Keep other electrical devices at a distance

•.0. Let me know if any of these works out for you.

I had to do a combination of things to fix it, hehe.
-Deleted preferences (didn't work)
-Unplugged tablet
-Delete every file on the computer with the word "wacom" in it
-Plug it back in to a different usb port
-install new drivers
-make new preferences
-save
It works now! XD

I've had system updates screw up my tablet drivers before. Sometimes finding a different (older or newer) driver version will fix it- one broke the drivers totally, no version would work,  and the only way to get the tablet to work was to undo the update.

I fixed it, just took wiping my computer of any file containing the word "wacom" and then reinstalling drivers and preferences, hehe
