Help me understand PC hardware, I'm a dumbass.
Alright, so I'm a complete dumbass when it comes to PC hardware.
If somebody could link some helpful website or something (images preferred, yes I'm THAT dumb.) That would be great.
Or if you wish to accept the challenge to try and explain with bare words to me.
Then remember this:
Treat me as if you were explaining computers to a chimpanzee. On acid.
And weed. Xanax too...Add a couple litres of vodka to the mix. Stir for 5 minutes, place in oven at 200°C for an hour...
Thanks in advance! (And I hope I'm not breaking any rules. )
Help this dumb child out!

Well, I found a website detailing the history of computers.
www.computerhope.com/
www.computerhope.com/history/
Additionally, I found:
com·put·er
/kəmˈpyo͞otər/
noun
noun: computer; plural noun: computers
an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program.
synonyms: personal computer, PC, laptop, netbook, ultraportable, desktop, terminal; More
mainframe;
Internet appliance;
informalputer
"your new computers will be able to handle much larger files"
a person who makes calculations, especially with a calculating machine.
And some links:
www.gcflearnfree.org/computerb…
www.webopedia.com/TERM/C/compu…
www.computerhope.com/jargon/c/…
You can also try looking for videos on YouTube on the subject...
Hopefully, this is useful to you. If not, let me know and I'll find some more. You're also welcome to ask me any questions.

(I must be one of the dumbest dummies there is.
Oh well, that's what one gets along with drugs...)

HowStuffWorks" has some articles on this that are a little more spoon-feedy than Wikipedia. I assume you're asking about how the innards of a computer function together, like the motherboard/graphics card/processor etc. As a fellow chimpanzee I can't really be of help with that, I don't know much more than the terms and stock definitions. There may be some nifty Youtube video explanations as well.
Thanks for the tip! It's much appreciated!
Thanks. Should help!
If you have specific questions I can help you.
I really don't because I cannot into lc hardware.
Thanks for the offer though

WHAT IS THE TOPIC YOU SEEK FROM THE GREAT OVERLORDS OF THE PC WORLD?
Everything. Excluding software. So hardware.
Enlighten me. Preferrably with visual aid.

More specifically?
DO you want to know about the 8086? The Eagle PC?
Bubble Memory?
Punchcards?

A simple guide to computer hardware. Or in general. Whichever you can provide.
From the top, or just bits you don't know?
