Problem with Tablet Drivers

I recently bought an Intuos 5 tablet and began to install it. It was all going well until I realized that the touch function is working, but the pen isn't. Wacom's support site said that I need a Mac OS X 10.6 at minimum for the tablet to work (I have a 10.5.8), and that I needed to install a driver. I did that, but it's still not working. The three options I have given the model of my laptop and my tablet are 6.3.2-4, 6.3.2-w4, and 6.3.1-w2. I have tried installing, uninstalling and reinstalling all three of them, but the pen is still not registering-I can't use it at all. Any advice?

Update your USB drivers and check the tablet settings

I'm not entirely sure. I just tried re-installing the hardware and then re-installing the drivers I'd downloaded, so probably something in there.

Do you mean download the drivers I mentioned from Wacom's site? I already did that and it's not working.

What do you mean by 'check the tablet settings?'

I'm sorry if I sound stupid, I'm just very unfamiliar with this.
