I had my Kindle Fire since Christmas. I've charged it often. And spend majority of the time on it listening to music. I was yesterday listening to music but then one of the ears in my headphones went out. I tried to see if the speakers were working but they weren't. Anyone else had this problem and have suggestions on what should I do? I've tried contacting costumer services but they wasn't any help.
Both the headphones and the speakers have one side of the audio cutting out? That's one of two things, either software is bad or the actual sound processing hardware broke. You should restore the thing to factory settings. Go to settings -> more -> device -> reset and see if that sorts it out.
If it doesn't then the audio chip somehow broke. You'll have to send it back and get a new one.
