I want to replace my old Bamboo tablet and get one of the Intuos series. I really want the 5 but i noticed that theres the touch version. Is it really worth it buying the touch one becasue im still uncertain of what it can really do. It's an extra £70 and it's already expensive for just the standard version
For most people the touch feature is causing way more problems than the non-touch version. So if you don't really think that you need the touch feature, then go for the version without touch.
In my opinion touch is one of the features that still needs development. My bamboo touch for example just goes crazy under windows 7. I don't even know if it's a problem of the tablet, the drivers or windows itself as "lemon1986" explained.
=> Non-Touch if you don't really need it and need to safe money.
