Wacom was working and now....

I just got my tablet today as a Christmas gift, I installed the driver and hooked it up to my computer. At first I was having trouble getting the pen pressure to work so I unistalled it and then reinstalled it. After that it worked just fine. Moments ago, though, I decided to move from the downstairs into the living room upstairs so I shut my computer, putting it to sleep, with the wacom still plugged in. When I woke my laptop it crashed and went straight to blue sceen, and now my tablet won't work again. Do I have to reinstall the driver again, or is it something else?

Reinstall the driver.

But do it like this, right click on the executable and "Run as administrator" if you are using windows 7 (even if you are the admin)

Have you tried unplugging it, then plugging it back in? Restarting your PC with the tablet still plugged in?

Also, as a side note. The light that indicates it is connected to my computer is lit up, it's just that the pen won't register or move at all.
