The Tablet: Wacom CTE-440. I don't know if it is a Graphire, I assume it is. The Pen: Bamboo CTE-450.
Tablet plugs in fine, lights up, drivers install properly. It has a blue light when you hover the pen, and a green light when you press down to signal that you are drawing.
When I try to use this pen on the previous model tablet, it thinks I am pressing down when I am simply hovering the pen over.
I -DO- have the Bamboo CTE-450 tablet, but alas I believe I broke it a while back, as it does not light up at all when plugged in, driver or not.
I have tried to re-install the tablet driver many times with no avail.
The pens generally aren't interchangeable between models
The CTE-440 and the CTE-450 pens should be compatible. There might be settings in the driver that need to be changed when using the pen on the other tablet.
