Printer ink problem

I just put up a new printer, the stupid instructions didn't give out details or warnings and the paper shows twisting off the orange cap which I did and the rubber part is stuck in the cap can't get it out to put it on the cartridge, What should I do.

I have no idea what kind of printer or ink you're trying to use, but if there's a cap in that part you're talking about that needs to be on the ink cartridge, try using needle-nose pliers or tweezers to grab the lip of the cap and pull it out. Otherwise try to leverage it out with a small flathead screwdriver or knife (be careful not to cut it or yourself).

Nevermind took to walmart and they said it wasn't the cartridge but something was wrong with the printer it self.
