Microphones, headsets and prices.

:iconkasimere:
Lemme' start off with, I'm in the U.K; so dollars in a price tag are pretty darn useless...

So, I want to get a good quality mic or calls and voice recordings. Any recommendations for a mic that's under £60 and still a good quality?

Samson Go Mic.
One of the ones I have, comes with a neat little case and a clip for laptops!

Microsoft Lifechat from Argos for £19.99.
Once the pads soften up it becomes very comfortable - the headphones are clear and no one has had any problem understanding me over Skype since the microphone is surprisingly good quality. Uses a USB connection and is plug and play. Worked out of the box with my Windows 8 install and Mac OSX.

Turtle Beach, maybe?
I've heard good stuff from them, was tempted to get the other half a set for Christmas.

Ohaye, think PC world might have some? I'd prefer just a mic.. But I guess I headset would make sense too.

In that case...
Try Blue Yeti. They're a bit on the expencive side, though.

It's the make of my boyfriend's microphone and it's shit hot. Maybe if you look around you might find a deal? It normally goes for £80+
