Computer external fan buzzing...

So Theres my computer and the fan it has. Then there is the fan that sits underneath my computer to cool it down. But when I plug it in each time I use it, it hums very loudly. It has some dust but then I cleaned it off and still hums.. Its been like this for a while. Is it just old or something wrong?

It's one of two things:

Either the laptop is heavy enough to push the plastic into the fan, causing the fan to buzz as it hits the plastic repeatedly.

Or the bearings on the fan have gone bad. They do that after time

Either way, your best bet is to buy a new laptop cooler.
