Fan's squeaking?

My desktop is a Dell All-in-One and I believe it's about two years old.
It's fan started to go between squeaking and whirring pretty loudly a few minutes ago so I turned it off and got to the laptop to ask about it.

My main questions are
--about how much would/should it cost if we get someone to look at it?
--does it mean that the computer is messing up badly enough we'd need to get a replacement?

I don't know how to find what kind of fan it has or anything of that sort but I checked for this if it's any help:
--Dell Inspiron 19
--64 bit Operating System

If you can open it up, you could replace the fan yourself.

I don't trust myself to open it, unfortunately. I'm afraid I'd break something--which I hear is very simple to do on any computer.

Though that would probably be cheapest of all! Is it difficult to do this?

Thank you so much for that link! I'd always heard that Dell is a devil when it comes to needing special treatment, had no idea. XD
