First tablet .... help!

So I'm want to get my first tablet and make the transition from traditional art to digital. But I don't know which one to buy! Any advice (btw I'm on a low budget

)
Also, what program do you need on your computer for it? I have Photoshop elements, will that work?

I started with a Wacom Bamboo myself, so I'd agree with :devpyrohmsr: on that. But since the site isn't coming up for me for some reason, I can't check Wacom's prices to compare to what I currently have.

Though if you can't afford a Bamboo (again, I can't see the prices on their site), the one I bought from Monoprice.com was $50 after tax and a few extras I bought with it.

wacom bamboo is probably what you want to buy

Photoshop elements should work fine. You'll also have to install drivers.... just follow the instructions that come with the tablet
