Yes, they are compatible. The motherboard has a PCI x16 and the card can use a PCI 3.0 x16... but it's backwards compatible so that should be fine.

looks fine. Board to Card compatibility really isn't an issue. I'd be more concerned if the card would fit in your case.

it will run as a 2.0 card and you'll see a slight drop in performance because of that. You should look for a card that operates via. 2.0

False. There'd be no performance loss since you still wont be saturating the bus even with a top end card in a x16 2.0 slot.
Bandwidth only becomes an issue when youre running below x16(x8 on 3.0).
