What was the worst virus you've ever gotten?

Me? The last time I got a virus, it was Security Tool back in 2009. Believe it or not, it was from deviantArt, there were other dA users who got the same virus like I did!

Idk exactly what it was, but i got it from the deviantart chatrooms. It KILLED my internet explorer i loved so much

now if any program tries to open it, everything gets glitchy and i have to restart my computer

Last virus that I got was a rogue (Fake antivirus). I do not remember its name, but it was quite deadly for me

But malwarebytes was awesome to remove that malware.

Now, I keep my antivirus software upto date and run malwarebytes (on-demand scan) at least once a month.

I use Malwarebytes too. Some recommend it as a backup scanner.

Linux could get viruses too. Nothing is 100% secure.

Yeah, but the likelihood is vastly lower. Never once gotten a virus on Linux after ~8 years of using it.
