I was undeclared for my first year of college, but now I declared it as CET. I've always been interested in computers, but never fully had the chance to analyze the hardware or do anything with it, so I'm going in a bit blind here. (I chose CET since Comp Sci is a bit too abstract for me)
What are some basic, cost-effective things/projects I can do to increase my knowledge and general computer hardware/technology skills?
I know I could just learn stuff from college, but I'd learn a lot more and possibly quicker if I also do stuff on my own.
