So apparently the Intuos5 doesn't work well with Paint Tool Sai, but works great with PS. I've always wanted and Intuos (right now I only own a bamboo, it's gets the job done but I'm in need for an upgrade). I depend on Paint Tool Sai, but I'm wondering is it worth buying the Intuos5 + PS CS5 at the same time and learning how to use PS? Or would it be best to just get the Intuos4? Does anyone know if theres a major difference between the two?
If I buy Intuos5 now will it work with my Paint Tool Sai? It's the only good painting program I have so I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't wanna waste my money if the Intuos5 won't work....!!
I'm using Intuos 5 and Paint Tool Sai...the pressure seems to be working; I can vary the thickness of the line, as well as the opacity of the color depending on how hard I press on the tablet. Perhaps you can check the other settings. Uninstall previous versions of Wacom (if you've had any other tablet before the i5) and make sure you have the latest Wacom driver installed.
Wow thats surprised I didn't expect Intuod 5 not to work well with SAI such a shame....I'll probably study how bad intuos 5 with SAI first before I decide...
most likely i'll get an intuod 4 or wait for a fix though if I were you since I love sai XD
did you perhaps have any problems at all and solved them? Because my intuos 5 won't really work with my sai but i'd like to somehow fix that problem. I don't get the pen pressure to work. I dunno maybe you could help? Sorry if i'm bothering
Nope I didn't have a single problem at all. Maybe try deleting and then reinstalling your Sai? Is yours a crack version? If it is that could also be a contributing factor possibly (:
