Someone please answere this for me. Whats a good frame by frame animating program I can use? Check out my gallery for my animations. I've used several programs that I'm not happy with.

It needs to have these things:

Its gotta be free or cheap

Its gotta let me use more than one layers

Its gotta be able to use alpha textures (see through textures).

Its gotta let me save in a GIF or AVI format so I can edit scenes together in Windows Movie Maker.

And if possible, license and royalty free (but not important).

I've already used Linester and Monkey Jam (but I wasn't happy that they didn't use alpha, the bottom layer always showed through white spots in my other layers).

I've used Blender's Pencil program (but it only saves in flash and .mov formats and its very glitchy for me).

And I've used plenty of free gif programs that had picture size restrictions and annoying stuff.

Pencil is free, has layers, outputs to individual PNGs for assembly in other programs or as a Flash file:

Tapptoons Animation Studio is also free. Has multiple layers and can do pan backgrounds. Outputs to an AVI:

I tried Pencil, but it saved in .mov format or flash and I couldn't edit sceenes together with Windows Movie Maker.

I've tried Tapptoons Linester but wasn't happy that I couldn't use white becouse the background would poke through every white spot. But I didn't know they had another program.

I'm gonna try Animation Studio though, thanks. I think this's what I'm looking for.

I don't know what else is free except for free frame grabber programs. I use Toon Boom Studio myself but it's not free. The full version is around $300. Others like Anime Studio but that is around $150.

I could just torrent for them, but I wanted it be royalty free.

I'm trying GIMP right now. I also have a free version of Photo Shop that came with my mom's camera.

There's some way to animate with them using layers that I'm looking up.

I remembered at least two other free animation programs. I don't know if they will do it for you:

Plastic Animation Paper:

And CreaToon:
