question about PScs filters. Please help

For some reason some of my filters are greyed out like I cant use them. The only filters I can currently use or click on are blur, sharpen, noise, stylize, and other. The rest are unuseable :( Can anyone offer me any suggestions as to how to make them available again? Thanks in advance for your help

Go up to Image > Mode and change it to RGB. Some modes, like CMYK limit certain (if not all) filters.

Check which Mode you're working in. (Image > Mode)
Some Modes don't work with all of the filters. (Like Indexed Mode) Try changing to RGB Mode

Thanks guys. I gigured out my problem. I was in RGB but I was set at 16 bit instead of 8 bit. Switching to 8 fixed it.
