spaceart feature
Hi fellow space artists!
I'm trying to put together a monthly space art journal, featuring the greatest space deviations of all time as well as newcomers.
So if you want to promote your art, share a thumb here, no matter how good you are and I will try to incorporate it in one of the upcoming journals!
Themes: all space scapes: stars, planets, asteroids, galaxies, nebulas and whatever you can think of.
Don't be shy! Every deviation will get a

Awesome, thank you!
Sonnet 6Tears turned us to a blue supernovaDon't know if it counts, but it uses a lot of space imagery.
Hydrogen and helium are dwindling.
Lightyears away, they see a bright coma,
A past beautiful glory day twinkling,
Ending when they perceive today's doomsday.
Mass is shrinking, how long to a blackhole?
My mind is stuck floating, ensnared halfway
Is this situation beyond control?
Or will you feel your actions' gravity?
Despite your warmth, I know pain will inflate
So I will wander new galaxies
Without you, I seek superior fates.
Now that you've become a vanishing blight
I finally see a distant star's light...
It sure does count, thank you for showing me a very different form of art
The first feature is done!
As I said before, don't worry if you didn't get featured this time, I've kept some of the best for the next months. Keep on posting your space art here, I am always collecting! Thank you.
Space Goat vol.1
Welcome to the very first issue of the monthly Space Goat! This months theme is "First&Final". We'll also have a look at some great Space Art. The name of this journal comes from a wonderful deviation by Paivatar:
Head over to her deviation to find out why this goat decided to be an astronaut.
Featured Artist: sirgerg
Greg Martin (:devsirgerg) was the first space artist I encountered on DeviantArt and his artwork just blew me away. This was exactly what I wanted to create! He ist still one of the greatest inspirations of the Space Art genre. Digital space art would not be the same without him. Today he mostly does excellent photography but I got a feeling, we haven't seen the last of his marvelous illustrations.

Thank you all for participation. So far this went way better than I had expected. You're awesome!
I'll try to write to write the journal this weekend. I have a name for it and I've got all the topics in my head. I just have to find the time to write everything down. Oh and I've got to figure out how journal skins work.
