Show and discuss your best art!
Closed my last thread....what was I thinking not vague enough...
Say something about what your style looks like, your favourite colour schemes or themes, what mood you usually like to create. Also what inspires you?
My style has a bit of an anime look to it and mostly has a dark theme to it.
The mood is often sad and emotional, sometimes filled with chaos.
I like using the colours red, black and white mostly.
I think human emotion inspires my art as well as depression. I want to show or evoke emotion somehow.

Nice works, thanks for sharing!
I'm aware of how difficult 3D art can be so I commend you.

My style is dynamic realism. I always try to make everything dynamic, realistic and life-like, be it my characters or even starships designs. I always try to present them in motion, like if they would right between two frames of a motion. My favorite color is sapphire blue, but of course I use all types of colors when the art requires. Many said that you can't really make realistic fantasy or sci-fi arts, but I try to prove them wrong. I also prefer harmony and order on all my arts and I love the details, which is presumably visible. As the arts below; the guardian character below is my favorite as she is based on someone very special to me. But beyond that, her art series is where contrary the today's mainstream OCs where heroines are posing in chainmail bikinis, I've tried to show that even a fragile and young angel woman can be majestic, may look powerful and determined even in a full, realistic battle armor, while I've also tried to show brand new battle and action poses, which makes her to a memorable, true guardian. The starship design is a different story. The Sharrow is my favorite ship design what I've made in 1999. These arts are the 15th anniversary edition of the original what I've made in 2014.
My art style is more cartoonish and I've been influenced mostly by CountANDRA, and I also really like faQy, Russalad, etc. Yeees, Tim Burton did influence me, but not so much directly.
I guess the mood varies a lot, because I work with many original tales and original characters, so it varies. There's usually an eccentric feel applied to all of those varieties, I guess
When it comes to colors, again, it varies a lot, but my favourites are red and blues.
Fantasy stories, books, movies, etc, inspire me ^^

Well my style is a mixture of a comic book look with a more realistic aproach. I always go for a kind of epic or action shot to showcase the characters. I'm a fan of monochrome works but I'm starting to use more colorfull paletes. I also study a lot of human references to try to evoque that sense of realism while staying in a fantasy state. I also love adapting other characters to my style
The way I see it, if you can't figure out what style your art fits in to, you could always just make up your own.
But I think you could call it surrealism! It does have that sort of vibe..

REALLY!? hhmmm i'll start a style then.....called....hmmm...lets see here.....AH!....the "SUPER DUPER AWESOME STYLE OF SUPREME VICTORY!!!"
Let's hope it catches on huh~
My style is mostly surreal and dark, but it's also very bi polar if I can describe it like that. Sometimes it comes out as dark stuff but it can also come out as something beautiful and nice looking. I love any color scheme, I like to experiment with as many different things as possible and I try to stay outside of the norm. The mood I create is normally based on human emotions or concepts that involve the human condition, I always like it when I can evoke emotions in someone just from showing them a piece of mine so I try to make that happen in some way whenever I create something. Salvador Dali is my inspiration, he is the artist that got me into art and he is the person that influences my art the most these days. Thanks for reading and looking at my artwork!
Who'd have thought a psychological disorder is becoming used to describe an art style. I see what you're getting at though.

I mostly do landscape arts
sometimes conceptual arts, too
I like to create something dreamy, peaceful, and calm feelings on my landscape arts, something that makes people think, "I want to go there".
On conceptual arts I usually go with some kind of messages, or focusing on emotions.
I mostly inspired by nature and human emotions
I think your art is good, and I understand you like the red/black/white combinations, and they work well. But I suggest you to try to go out from your comfort zone and try some other combinations, not something drastically, but you could slowly play with other colors, for example red/blue or black/green. It's fun to do something out of your comfort zone because sometimes you can find something new and interesting as an artist

Sounds good!
Well, you could say I'm having to branch out recently for a contest, since the theme is a specific colour...purple. It's taken me maybe 5 tries, different save files to get to an idea that doesn't make me want to just throw up and quit.
Thanks for the suggestion~

It does have a romantic feel to it, I think you picked out some good colour schemes including the earthy tone for the background!
Well I wondered if you considered trying out some more patterns or silhouette-like bg to compliment your style?
