CHRONICLES OF A FUGITIVE
Chapter 1: Feathers of the Past

Back in the late 1990s, toward my senior year in high school, I began an action/mystery novel that became my personal project; a marriage of writing and martial arts. I had written several chapters, but never with the true intent of publishing it. After college was completed and ‘real-life’ began, it fell by the wayside and began collecting digital dust. I wasn’t until these past few months when a fellow deviantArtist, who I had comissioned, was interested in reading the incomplete novel after drawing one of my original characters from it: [link]
Since then, I have fell in love with my novel again, and he had encouraged me to continue working on it, as he enjoyed the plot and wanted to read more. That same artist is now the one who is helping me design cover pages for each of the chapters. It will be a slow process to complete the novel, but I hope you enjoy the premier chapter.
