Too Much Too LateYu suggests something as if he's giving simple directions. "I have an idea. Why don't I whip something up for you? I'm not the world's best cook, but-"
The suggestion almost bowls Adachi off his feet. He gasps and blushes as if Yu just bought him a castle in Scotland. "Th-th-thanks, but no thanks," he stammers, rubbing the back of his neck again.

"Im glad...things are different now. I'm glad you find me, night after night. When I step out of the Animus, your face is the first one I look for. Your voice...is all that keeps me going. You're the reason I haven't gone insane-or 'barmy', as you put it. So thank you. Thank you, Shaun."

*Original work, done in support of gay rights, and believing in God without attaching hate to His name. This was spurred on by a sermon my family watched this morning, by our favorite pastor, Dr. Charles Stanley. He usually hits the nail on the head for me, but this morning it was all about death and damnation, God's 'unholy children', and burning in Hell.
Instead of venting my feelings in a journal, I wrote
The boys have gone,
And the girl beside,
To ride the waves
Upon the tide.
To defy Poseidon
Upon his watery plane.
