One-DayI’ve watched you
From the darkness
I’ve watched
And I have learnt.

You stand
Amongst the spotlights,
You walk under the sun.

Your teeth are white, and
When you flinch,
Your lips, so perfect,
Twitch.

You will have a dog behind you,
A dark hell hound of sorrow

Of tears, of bottled fears,
Of your subtle make-up smears.

Caress upon your paling skin,
The world arest in cruelty’s jest,
Will lay another stone akin,
Alongside to the rest.

We will watch you sink
A diamond once,
A jewel once,
Tinged in red
From dying smiles

I watch you, and
Wait
For this tragic end
I anticipate
Destiny, Fate,
Acursed decree

What I do know sha
ConstellationsThe freckles on your skin,
Spilling constellations,
Of a future long lost.

Those milky eyes,
Sunken, blinded in clouds,
Of a past ever present.

What have you become?

How could you remain?

These battle scars.
A different kind.
No victory to boast,
As the last man stands.

Drop your weapon, soldier,
Peel from your tattoos,
Shrink into the cobwebs,
where you survived.

Sewing your eyes shut,
With rusted mapping pins.
Doing so, cost you your life,
As I turn from the shattered mirror.

FickleLittle stone statue,
Hiding in a lampshade.
Come show us,
Your expensive smile.
A permanent bruise,
Where your eyes touch.

The shallow waters
Of a fickle soul.
Conspicuous,
You attempt to shine.’
