that looks like you painted it with a pair of tits and and an oversized spatula. Just saying. It doesnt help that you have a big indiscernible blob just slapped in the middle of the painting...almost like you messed up too many times and by like the fifth time trying to fix it you just said fuck it.

just my opinion. stop being so hyper sensitive. Have you seen the encouraging shit i am saying? You hold it against me but you totally ignore how she ripped my painting. I was just retaliating. And not, photography is not art. Everyone on DA knows thats my stance.
First of all, I do not know you or who you are. I also complimented myself with your work. But that stance is quite an unreasonable one, even though I still respect it. A photography shot can contain as much emotions and art as a painting, if not more. Browse the internet for Ansel Adams, Robert Doisneau or Henry Cartier Bresson, and come tell me that it is not art once again. It is impossible that I will change your mind, but I do not know how one can say that the photos shot by such great artists are not, somehow, art.
maybe you took my comment too seriously; I'm not defending CharityK in absolutely any way.
I think its very presumptuous to say you are part of the top 5% of DA. I've seen many people who have been on DA much shorter than 6 years with many more followers and views than you. Don't get me wrong however! I think as a stand alone piece the picture you chose to show doesn't show a particular strength that people searching through DA look for but after looking at your other work posted here I can say that you have a very strong style and that your art could be recognized as a piece you made and THAT is something art gallery and other high-end art displays look for. Keep in mind, location, location, location. It is not only for real estate but for art as well! Knowing where to promote your art is half the battle! And although you seem rather self confident don't let anyone's comments un-inspire you
Its good that you don't let numbers get to you. Personally I like them but that's just me. I don't want this to sound bad but I've seen a couple of your forum posts and you tend to sound a bit self-centered. I honestly haven't seen anyone else go with that approach but I would think it would give you a negative image.. Does it? Or does it give you more/better responses from the people of DA? Or is it just you being you?
ok wait...you act like an ass to "get through critiques" and yet you say the internet is a lie. so basically what you're saying is you're part of a community of artists that you say is "a lie" that's soul purpose to to share art and receive criticism, criticism you cant take without acting undeservingly self-satisfied .....yet you are, not only a member of this said community, but a seemingly attention-hungry one at that. here's some advice: Stop what you are doing. Stop painting. No, don't stop painting if it makes you happy...just stop sharing it with people you don't know, at least until you're ready to take criticism and use it to improve (and your work DOES need improvement...EVERYBODY'S art could be better). Also, if you really think "the internet is a lie" (not even sure what thats supposed to mean) than get off of it. Spend less time uploading your art and more time working on it. You can only benefit from that.
