Sometimes I need quick advices on my works, before posting the final deviation.
Maybe someone else have the same "problem"...

Let's help each other!

For example, I always can't chose between different versions of the same image...
Can someone help me?

First Picture: Which do you like most of the three versions?

Second Picture: Which do you like most of the three versions?

Critique is welcome!! ^_^

Your turn now! I hope this topic will be useful to many deviants!

Well, sorry if I write a pretty obvious thing, but the "best" would depends on your purpose, or idea you wish to transmit through your picture. Some effects works in some cases, others in other cases. These gestalt and color psychology things.

I personally dislike the "instagram-esque" filters, mostly because they are very overused (cheap) nowadays, and most of time, applied without any criteria.

So the question you have to ask yourself is "what I want to transmit with it". And if you want some help choosing between them, it would be nice adding some explanation about what you want to achieve.

Also, maybe you could bring the composition aspect to the table too. Centered framing is ok, but the "1/3 framing rule" works well in most of times.

Thank you for your feedback!

(To be honest, maybe the problem is that sometimes I don't know what I really want to express... thanks!)
