Hello Everyone,

Would like some critiques on my sketch please this is my first sketch of a whole face no tracing just on plain canvas. I am not an artist traditional or digital but are learning how to sketch faces etc.

I am stuck on the baby's ear can someone tell me how to go about sketching it please

you should soften the curves use a bit more arm. you got some hard dark lines, which my life drawing teacher always tells me is bad for starting out a sketch. you want to leave the drawing very open until you're at the refining stage (: as for the ear, there's more of a curve to the top of it, even inside the shapes are more rounded then how you drew them. Hope this helps alittle
