First of all: cute!

And for the advice:
The background works well, but maybe you could pick a slightly lighter tone so the character stands out more.
Also maybe you could add more shadows and highlights to the clothing so it looks even more realistic :)

I find it a little hard to give feedback on this kind of artwork but I'll try :)

I think it looks nice. But it has a little bit of a cold feeling. Maybe that's what you're looking for, I don't know :P

Maybe you can blend the colours a little more so it becomes less harsh and thus less cold? It really depends on what kind of feeling you're going for :P

But nice work!

aww cheers, and hehe actually im quite glad you responded to it as being cold, as i was trying to get that across. My origional idea was just 'ice queen' but in the end reminded me oddly of the witch in snow-white but in an odd twisted way :D thankyou for the comment
