I checked out the devwear size chart to see what XL means, and I can only conclude that there are people that would need a bigger size. I was wondering whether there's a problem for (for example) hoodies or shirts to come in bigger sizes as well.

Does anyone out there agree that we are ready to spend some money if we had some bigger sizes?

devWear is done by the American Apparel company and they determine the sizes, so I think it's out of dA's hands. :hmm:

DA, however, could show an interest in bigger sizes (and hope for the best) or change the company.

I understand there's probably no chance of DA doing that, but that's more DA's loss, than mine. I can always ask, of course.

I think the issue definitely needs discussion. I have no idea how the devwear is made personally... but especially considering that a lot of stuff shrinks... I think there should be options for bigger than an XL.

stupid jokes never hurt nobody... (they are meant NOT TO be taken seriously DUH!)... and besides, aren't we just having to say what we want and what we think??? :) we all have a right on our own opinion (freedom of speech)... if someone doesn't like it... fine... :)

Actually, if I were saying that, I wouldn't even be saying it as a joke. It gets harder and harder nowadays to find clothes for somebody that isn't anorexic or somebody that doesn't at least tend to be. The world promotes a type of look that models have which is often quite unhealthy (beside unpleasant-to me at least), and not just by commercials, but by sizes in shops too.

And besides frictiondesign, is it really necessary to go around the forum and just marking somebody's opinion as stupid just because you don't seem to have one?

Its reverse discrimination. If I were to make a joke about fat people everyone would flip their shit, but for some reason its funny to refer to people who wear normal sizes as having eating disorders?

Referring to thin people as anorexic is every bit as discriminatory and inflammatory as if I were to start referring to everyone who wears an XXL as a big ole fatty. Some people are thin because they eat healthy and exercise, or are naturally built that way. If I were to come in here making fat jokes I'd have all sorts of people pissed off. Why is it ok for you to do the same to thin people?
