Additional shipping options for international deliveries

I\'ve been wanting to order a t-shirt from deviantWear recently, and the shirt works out to $24 in local currency, which is a great price! But the shipping is $18! The only option for postage I am offered is FedEx International Priority.

$18 seems to be a bit much to spend for one tshirt, I believe FedEx International Express is cheaper but takes up to 5 days, (as opposed to the 3 for Priority). We\'re not shipping a kidney or heart here, so two additional days wouldn\'t bother me.

Just seems a bit annoying to spend 80% of the products value in shipping.

I agree, shipping prices is the main reason why I don't buy on dA. I think it's a bit silly to spend all that in shipping when I could buy other things. :(

Yeah well I wanted to buy a shirt, but it was about $45 all up including shipping, which is too much for ONE shirt. So I'm waiting until other local dA users want to order so we can split shipping. Instead, I went and bought TWO shirts from DBH, which ended up costing me about $1 more than the price of ONE shirt from dA.

Agreed, shipping is the main reason I don't buy on dA either.

I completely agree with this - I went to buy a Fella plushie the other day and quickly removed it from my cart when I noticed that the postage is about 3/4 of the price of the actual item, so it's kinda like buying two and only getting one...

Shipping's the reason I don't buy off dA too. I only get my own stuff because of the artist discount. I could probably get it cheaper still locally, but I trust dA's quality more ^_^

But yes, reduce shipping costs and more ppl would probably buy from here, especially devWear

I think the prices they charge for shipping are quite valid, it's just that they don't give you cheaper options from the same shipping company. For example the option from FedEx that they use, isn't the cheapest, there are cheaper options that just take longer.

I'd be happy to risk/wait for bog standard cheapo postage ^^

Yeah me too, just seems to be absurd that the shipping will cost almost as much as the shirt. I've bought stuff through other online tshirt sellers and they use FedEx but were able to offer me shipping at half the cost.
