Aside from losing the ability to install Windows, which isn't needed anyways, there wouldn't really be any downside to it. The only problem would be laptops and the Mini, unless the old heat problems have already been sorted out, but it would still be great in a Mac Pro or an iMac.
You do realize your precious Microsoft XBox 360 uses a 3.2GHz PPC Xenon chip, right?

But, it was good that Apple left IBM. Intel and Apple have kinda reinvigorated themselves because of it. But then there is that niggling doubt that Apple might have got in on that Cell Broadband Engine action. Macs with a Cell would have run like shit off a shovel.
