the storage is only a concern if you plan to fill it up. 32 gig isnt that much, especially if you plan to put movies on it.
you need to have access to the wireless network if it is secured, otherwise it wont work much outside of Starbucks or your house, the library or whatever.
i would get a classic if those things don't interest you. or if they do, get an iPhone, since that has a constant connection.
i never really found the Touch to be a good product because it doesn't offer the storage of the classic, or the capabilities of the phone.
the touch is very convenient and is an amazing little machine to have, but not as an ipod. i am lucky enough to have a job and nothing to spend my money on, so the touch is a good idea for me. however, i never use it to play music, and i have no idea where my headphones are actually. it can be used for so much more though (i have my math book on it as a pdf, so i don't have to lug that big thing around) and i can use the internet anywhere (that has an unprotected connection--which is almost everywhere nowadays). i still have my classic for music though.
in short, if you are replacing an ipod, and want music, get the classic... the touch only works well if you want the internet and whatnot (although memory will go up pretty fast, just like most technology these days)
Ah, thanks. I think I will get the Classic. And then perhaps later on when I have money to throw away and the storage has gone up I'll get one of those fancy gizmos.

But the touch is so cool. Very, very cool. The lack of storage is not cool. But everything else seems cool.
Is the internet reception reliable or uncertain? How soon do you think they'll have more storage for them?
What are the pros/cons for the iPod Touch? Name all the bugs that are being worked out. Convince me I don't need one, please!
