i need help guys, i need to know which performs better... Imac 2.4 ghz or Macbook Pro 2.4 ghz, i dont care much about screen size and portability, i just need to know the diffrence between both graphic cards:

Imac: Ati radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB of GDDR3

Macbook pro: Nvidia GeFoce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM and Dual-link DVI

I need to know the diffrence between those two?? is it a big or small diffrence??

Thanks in Advance :D

The GeForce is significantly better than the ATi card.

Price! Unless you need the increased 3D graphics performance and portability, the MacBook Pro may be a waste of money for you. Plus you get a bigger screen with the iMac.

No need for a particularly good graphics card with PhotoShop etc...

The Macbook Pro has a much better graphics card, but is a lot more expensive than the iMac. If money wasn't a concern, I'd go for the Macbook Pro, personally.
